Fairfax

Fairfax, taking Sir Francis Drake toward west Marin still feels like Old Marin. What Fairfax lacks in elegance it makes up in friendliness, more laid back attitude and some of the lowest prices of homes in Marin.  In Fairfax, young families are discovering they can own a home at a price well below the Marin average.  The commute to San Francisco will take about an hour and a little more during commute times, so business folks find it a little less desirable if they need to commute into the city on a daily basis.
